Board Rules and News

The following is a list of basic rules of conduct for the board. More may be added over time. This may also be revised over time.

1. Treat everyone with respect, do not engage in personal attacks, do not use profanity.

2. Do not bash actors. You may criticize the characters they play, but recognize the difference between criticizing a character and the actor that portrays them. This includes personal attacks on the actor's looks or personal lives.

3. In being critical of the characters, please do not cross the lines of decency. Tasteless posts will be deleted!

4. The board has a "report to moderator" function. If you see a topic or response you feel is inappropriate or crosses a line, please use this to let moderators know.

5. As with any public forum, use common sense! Do not give away personal information to people you do not know. Do not post personal information where anyone can see it.

6. If posting some kind of spoilers or news, please put a warning either in your post or in the topic. Not everyone likes to read spoilers. Also if your spoiler comes from another site, please link back to the originating site for credit.

7. Please limit the size of your signature banners to around 500x150 pixels. Also please only one banner per signature! Realize that not everyone has high speed internet and your gigantic flashy banner actually takes forever to load on some people's pcs. Please use gif or jpeg formats for your banners. Tiff, BMP and Png files are extremely large files and take a long time to load.

8. Please be considerate of others when using moving images in your banners and avatars. Again many people are still on dial-up and waiting for a movie to load up slows the board down for them. If your avatar or banner takes longer than around 5 seconds to load up then it's probably too much.

9. All banners must be on your own accounts! Do not link (ie hotlink) to banners on other people's accounts or websites. This is considered bandwidth theft.

10. Spamming the board and members will not be tolerated.
